Q. Why is the Son of God called “Jesus,” meaning “savior”?
为什么神的儿子要叫耶稣，意为拯救者？
A. Because he saves us from our sins, [1] and because salvation should not be sought and cannot be found in anyone else. [2]
因为祂从我们的罪恶里救我们出来。[1] 并且因为不可在别处求寻救法，也不能从别处获得。[2]

Q. Do those who look for their salvation in saints, in themselves, or elsewhere really believe in the only savior Jesus?
那些在圣徒、自身或是其他地方寻找救法的人，真的可算是唯独信仰独一救主耶稣的吗？
A. No.
Although they boast of being his, by their actions they deny the only savior, Jesus.[1] Either Jesus is not a perfect savior, or those who in true faith accept this savior have in him all they need for their salvation. [2]
不。
尽管他们以此自慢，他们的行径表明他们拒绝了独一的救主耶稣。[1] 耶稣要么不是一位完全完美的拯救者，要么那些在真信心里接受这位拯救者的人在祂里面得着了为他们得救所需的一切。[2]
